Beursplein Tiel
On the site of a vacant office building on one of the main access roads to Tiel, the Beursplein is being developed. The housing plan consists of 105 homes with great diversity in size, access, and orientation. The entire plan comprises two phases that, in terms of shape and material, form a cohesive family.
The complex is primarily constructed of brickwork, with the upper floors set back or carved out from the mass. This approach plays with material and finishing to highlight the different typologies and special features in the program. The roofs are activated by creating communal and private gardens.
The complex will receive the BENG certificate (nearly energy-neutral).
