New project: the Living
Lodge is a build yourself, circulair, autarkic tiny house made out of almost
only biobased materials. It aims to increase biodiversity instead of leaving a
human footprint. We’ve cooperated with the Wageningen University to develop a
site specific “natural PVE” (program of demands). This is a survey of
local flora and fauna and it’s specific demands and circumstances to be able to
grow and live. This is translated into integrated applications in the walls,
roof and foundation. The first one will be placed in a location we will reveal
soon. In cooperation with Nature Nomads, TU Eindhoven, Staatsbosbeheer, De
Groot Vroomshoop and the WUR.
